Lake Forest Police Services Recognize Student’s Efforts

Last week, Lake Forest student Lauren Larsen encountered a situation that required help from the authorities. She remembered what she had learned in the Above the Influence (ATI) program. This program teaches students how to make smart choices about drugs and alcohol, and she called 911.

Lauren was able to give the dispatcher a very accurate description of the suspect and tell them exactly what direction he was traveling. Thanks to Lauren's quick thinking and the help of the police, the suspect was arrested.

We at The Bloom of Time are so impressed by Lauren's bravery! We decided to donate a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate her recognition from the Lake Forest Police Services.

Thank you to Lauren for her courage and also for helping to keep our community safe! Lauren also receives a gift certificate from Handel's Ice Cream! We hope that you enjoy your flowers and ice cream! We are thrilled to play a small part in your special day.
