It’s been a minute since we’ve posted on the blogs, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy! It’s actually quite the opposite here in the studio as we wrapped up Spring – which involved all the lovely weather weddings and our busiest day of the year: Mother’s Day.
Now as we step into the heart of summer, we thought it was the perfect time to bring the blogs back! We'll begin with a look at the 2025 wedding trends that have been quietly capturing our attention. From bridesmaid styling and ceremony design to the blooms couples are leaning toward, here’s what’s been inspiring us lately and hopefully, will inspire you, too.
We’ve been seeing this trend making headlines and headways in 2025 weddings and we can see why! This has been such a fun way to introduce personality and flair into your bridal party.
We kicked off 2025 with Miranda and Kaden’s color-swept celebration — a vibrant wedding full of joy, movement, and hues that made our designer hearts sing! Pinks, greens, orange and blues – there was no limit on this palette. It was the perfect example of how you can lean into color blocking with your bridal party without it being overwhelming.
Column-style ceremony designs aren’t entirely new to the wedding world — they’ve long been used to frame the end of the aisle with structure and height. But lately, they’ve been stepping into the spotlight for 2025 weddings — both figuratively and literally.

Couples in 2025 are gravitating toward ceremony designs that feel both sculptural and minimalist. As a result, column installations strike the perfect balance. They create visual interest without overwhelming the setting, therefore, offering a sleek alternative to traditional floral arches or full-backdrop installations.
There’s something undeniably playful about a sorbet-inspired palette. These soft washes of peach, melon, blush, and citrus always feel like summer distilled into color.

Sorbet tones offer a fresh take on the traditional pastel palette — a little brighter, a little bolder, and full of warmth. While we’ll always have a soft spot for classic pastels, these sunlit shades bring a vibrant energy to your florals without sacrificing the softness or sophistication you’re looking for.
Not only that, these colors always photograph beautifully in golden-hour light and create an instant atmosphere of warmth.
In 2025, we’re seeing a clear shift in floral preferences: brides are moving away from greenery-heavy arrangements and leaning into designs that feel whimsical yet organic.

At first glance, “whimsical” and “organic” might seem at odds, but the magic lies in the styling: one speaks to the mood and silhouette, the other to the materials and palette. When balanced well, the result is floral design that feels both effortless, artful and intentional.
What's driving this shift? Instead of the structured foliage and symmetry that characterized previous years, couples are opting for a more curated wildness. Bouquets and arrangements that feel freshly picked from a garden rather than meticulously arranged by a florist has become the new trend with our couples.
Finally, we're excited to see Ikebana-inspired arrangements taking off. While these Japanese-inspired arrangements are gaining fresh momentum in today’s floral scene, their origins date back to the Muromachi Period of the 16th century.

What are Ikebana style arrangements? Ikebana, meaning “living flowers,” is the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. More than just decorative design, it is a highly intentional and meditative practice rooted in centuries of philosophy, nature reverence, and minimalism.
The core principle of ikebana arrangements is using asymmetry, negative space and “imperfection” or the natural curves of blooms to the create a balanced arrangement. The whole purpose is to highlight the beauty of each individual bloom, stem or leaf.
Our 2025 couples have been requesting more and more of these type of arrangements. In fact, they've become so popular, we started offering this arrangement in our The Bloom of Time Shop!
Final thoughts: trends can inspire, guide, and spark ideas — but they’re never a rulebook. Whether one of these spoke to you or simply stirred a new direction – one thing remains true: the most memorable and meaningful weddings are the ones that feel personal and true to you. Whether you’re drawn to bold blooms, sculptural installs, or gentle palettes, we’re here to bring your vision to life in a way that feels unmistakably yours.
